Web 3.0 allows users to interact with applications in a decentralized manner. Blank Wallet makes it possible to connect to any decentralized application (DApp).
Due to the way Web 3.0 functions, you need to have Blank Wallet as your default browser wallet to interact with DApps. Be sure to disable other browser extension wallets before using Blank Wallet for the smoothest experience possible.
Here’s how to connect to any DApp using Blank Wallet:
If Blank Wallet has been natively integrated with the DApp, select Blank Wallet from the list of available wallets after pressing the Connect button, which is typically in the top righthand corner of the DApp.
You will then be asked to confirm the connection within the Blank Wallet browser extension. Choose which of your accounts you would like to connect with and click Next and then Connect.
If Blank Wallet still hasn’t been natively integrated with the DApp, then you can still connect. Our logo is still not displayed when connecting to these DApps. What you will see varies from DApp to DApp, but you will typically see variations such as Browser Wallet or Injected. Select one of these options and confirm the connection in the browser extension.
If you can't find a native integration or an option such as Browser Wallet or Injected, then you can connect via MetaMask. Blank Wallet will be recognized as your default browser wallet by doing so.
We’re aiming to pursue as many native integrations as possible after releasing Blank Wallet. In the meantime, users can connect to any DApp of their choice using the methods outlined above.
